In 2001, in an attempt to improve patient/family-centered care, communication, and coordination of care and monitoring of children with special health care needs, Reading Pediatrics established the Star Program.
As part of this program, ‘Star’ will highlight your child’s name, and signify to all members of Reading Pediatrics that you and your child deserve special recognition. This designation alerts our staff to ask about any special needs – such as urgent scheduling of appointments, extended time with your provider, contact with our clinical care coordinator, and more.
